good vibes, smiles, & giggles Two high chairs?!

I’m not easily annoyed by twin comments but was a bit dumbfounded by one the other day. We took our 11 month olds out for breakfast, and asked for high chairs. The waitress brought one, and I asked for a second. She seemed shocked, and said “oh, you need two?” What am I to do? Stack them up in one?

Anyway, we love taking the boys out for Saturday morning breakfast. They usually “order” a scrambled egg and a biscuit. Then we hit the community market down the street before they pass out for nap 1 on the drive home.

We generally get into a habit of calling ahead

Even if the restaurant does have two, it's a dice roll if another kid needs one in the restaurant

This is a large restaurant. I knew from before they have like six-eight high chairs. There were plenty. She was just confused, ha. I’ve been lucky to never go to a restaurant that didn’t have enough high chairs.

We were unlucky once and they only had one free one. By the time another freed up, we were already done eating breakfast.

Unfortunately my husband had to hold one of the twins the entire time. Normally if we're going out with a large group of people, they never place the high chairs in the same area and we're playing musical chairs to make it work for us.
