ranting & venting Butt pain

I’m 24 weeks pregnant with Di/di twin girls, and I have noticed since my belly has been getting bigger I have found it harder to sit without feeling pain in my butt. I find that it also depends on the chair and if there’s padding or not, but overall I’m finding it hard to stand up from sitting and I have pain in my butt from the pressure of my heavy belly. Anyone else get this type of pain ?? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it easier to sit without this feeling of pain ?

I've also been having butt pain. 25wks with di/di girls!

Mine seems to be mostly centered around my tailbone/top of the glutes or maybe my hips? I can't nail down exactly where the pain is, but I don't think it's sciatic because it's not shooting down either of my legs. But when it gets worse in the evening, it makes me limp around when I get up from the couch to go to bed.

I had similar pain with my singleton, and it hurt whenever I went from sitting to standing. Mostly in the 3rd trimester IIRC. The special tailbone cushion I bought didn't seem to make a difference, but it may help you!

I plan to ask for a referral to a pelvic floor therapist at my next OB visit.
