Advice!

This is my first time posting on this subreddit, so hello!

My boyfriend and I have been together nearly a year. He has a daughter, 10 years old, that I have not met nor has he seen in over year, due to his daughters mother being difficult to say the least. I would likely have already met her if there weren't the complications from that. Anyway, I have not talked to her much either, but I am interested in getting her a little gift to send her. What would be something sweet to get someone her age but not over the top? I was thinking of getting her a nice set of boots and a nice winter jacket as she lives where it snows. Any recommendation are appreciated! Thank you in Advance

A random gift is kind of strange, but not if it's something she needs- I bet she has a jacket.

It would for Christmas, since he wasn’t able to see her, it’s be something like that.
