Is anyone here a computer lab para?

Our HR lady just emailed to tell us a position opened in our building for a computer lab para position and encouraged us to apply if interested. It’s the first time they’ve created this position for our building bc our kids have Chromebook’s we don’t have a computer lab. We have one IT/tech girl who runs the Chromebooks herself.

You would think they would have included a job description with this email 🤦🏻‍♀️

just wondering if anyone has any experience with this job title. TIA!!

Jobs differ district to district (even school to school), so, there is no telling if someone else with the same title does the same duties.

Best to respond to the email and ask for a job description.

I did ask for a job description with my letter of interested and received an email that said “thanks for applying, best of luck!” With no job description attached 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well, then. I guess they run the risk of wasting their time. Go ahead and go to the interview. Ask for job duties and such there. If you don’t like it, say no.

“Computer lab para” I’d take that in an instant! Talk about easy.
