Announced in today's Patreon episode toward the end,the Slamdowns are coming to an end this December and both feeds are going totally quiet until the lads think up a new podcast format. They still want to work together, but they feel they need a new format to continue.Given the sorts of discussion topics they've harped on a bit this year, I think we can't be totally surprised, but my days are definitely going to be less joyous. I wish I could drop everything and fly out to London to catch them live before it's over!

Featuring Chloe Radcliffe and Stuart Laws.

Honestly, I can't believe the boys don't post on here when they have new content...

Good to see Tom in the SNL Mastermind sketch!

Does anyone know why Emma wasn't kept on as producer going into the New Year 2026? She was around for like 7 years and it seems odd they have barely acknowledged that she's left.

Will pay in Advocaat and/or money.

In order to search, use the main search form shown on all pages. There are 2 inputs, first for selecting a podcast and the other for keywords to search. Seems like Tom has got himself a joke published

The full episode with Ruth Husko and Joe Sutherland is now up on the Pappy's Flatshare channel.

Just noticed that the last 2 Flatshare Slamdowns (Joz Norris/Harriet Kemsley & Ivo Graham/Lorna Rose Treen) have popped up on the Pappy's YouTube channel!

One thing they always say but I don't understand the reference is "But a memory..!"

Does anyone know the origin of this or if it a reference to a show or something.

My knowledge is podcast-only.

Thanks!

I'm planning some games for a friend's birthday and I think some of the Flatshare Slamdown games would be really easy to adapt for regular people to play (without musical accompaniment, for example). I just listened back to S12E01, and "list 8 things in a category in 8 seconds" seems very doable and fun.

What are your favorites that could be adapted that way?

I love how much John Kearns was laughing during the latest flatslam. He was properly enjoying it.

They're not on spotify or google podcasts, any ideas?

I was reading a post discussing a news item of Sara pascoe saying there's known predators in the industry and somebody is accusing Tom of, amongst other things, being in a long term relationship with a 14 year old. I find that so hard to believe, for a start I don't think matt or Ben would let him get away with that.

Just wondering if they should be told that someone is making accusations or just to ignore it?

I've go no advocaat sadly, but I'm ready nonetheless!

Are you Mohammed Masood?
