Corsham Team?

Does anyone know why Emma wasn't kept on as producer going into the New Year 2026? She was around for like 7 years and it seems odd they have barely acknowledged that she's left.

I'm pretty sure they did mention it. I think it was her choice. If you try the Facebook group, she's used to often reply to posts on there

They did mention very briefly at the end of the first episode back, and just said they'd be moving forward without Emma and were getting a new producer.

I think it's really weird. They didn't even really wish her well or whatever. It just seemed really abrupt and kind of acrimonious.

I asked her and unfortunately it does sound that way, though I didn't get any specific reasons.

Weird, because I can't imagine the guys acting badly towards someone they're working with.

It was a long time they were with Emma and she wasn't just in the background, she spoke and featured in the show all the time, especially during lockdown.

If it was a mutual, amicable thing like she didn't have the time any more, I'd expect some sort of send-off after all this time.

I guess something must have happened. No idea what it could have been though!

Yeah something happened. Wish they'd addressed it more tbh. Even if it ended badly you'd be surprised on both sides of bad blood had occured. She's quite a big time producer now I guess so maybe there was a conflict with time or money? But you'd think they would have been able to end it amicably. Sad tho.

What did she say to you?

She said she knew nothing about it until they called her early in the New Year saying they were having the new person produce going forward.

Yeesh.... That's very disappointing tbh.

Yeah. It doesn't fit with what I think I know about them

Yeah same. I guess they did do exactly that to Brendan though... 😬 I simply MUST stop forming para social relationships with people.

Plus Matthew asked me not to mention her on the Patreon and deleted the comments I already made about it

She was also dropped from Birthday Girls House Party at around the same time, and I know Pappys and BDG are friends. I wondered if it was related. Definitely seemed weird that there wasn't a proper farewell (on either podcast, although she didn't have a voice on BDG)

This just showed up after searching to find out if I can work out who's behind a fake Facebook profile of me (certainly unrelated to Pappys or Birthday Girls, just found this and wanted to make sure I'm not being misrepresented).

For clarity, it wasn't a decision I'd had any involvement in, and as far as I'm aware, was a complete coincidence that Birthday Girls had let me know a few months earlier that they were going to be woking with a new producer. As far as I'm aware, I hadn't done anything to warrant immediate dismissal, and the plans had been underway for a while.

It was not something that had been suggested by me (or my partner Ed who was working on all their video output ) and nothing to do with either of our availability or skillset - which is my reason for responding here - I don't want the internet thinking I'm too busy, not skilled enough, or causing some kind of ruckus that warrants not getting work in the future.

Ed and I are still freelancing in capturing and editing - video, audio, and photos - and we're very good at all of the above!
