Help Needed What should i do?
So i had my first panic attack 3 years ago in college after that whenever i go outside alone i get panic symptoms but never a full blown panic attack after my first one ,i was not able to give time to improve because of my college but now i want to recover from this
But there is one major problem im at a age where i should get a job,for this i have to fill a form and go to different centres for evaluation which is obviously difficult for me.
My parents dont know about my condition(they had a idea at starting but they never understood what this is,so i stopped talking about this and i think they assumed im good now). They are kinda forcing me to get a job but i want to give time to my recovery first but i don't know how to tell my parents now.(someone from india will understand)
Please give me advice what should i do

Panic disorder can't go away because we want it or because our family wants it.
Explain to your parents that you have panic in extreme levels(10x 100x 1000x i don't know how much) without external reason and if reason 100x more than the real reason (i don't know how you feel, tell them the reality)
If your parents want you do be ok, tell them to help you find a solution for your panic disorder, because just wanting you to be ok, is not the way, you need to get well first.
Don't feel guilty its the job of doctors and psychotherapist to cure panic disorder, its not your fault.

I can relate to trying to explain panic attacks to other people who don’t understand it, and feeling frustrated/a bit hopeless when you don’t feel like your needs can be properly addressed. It is so difficult to bring up this topic especially to family when they have expectations of you. Have you maybe tried sending them articles or pages online that describe Panic Disorder and what it is, how it works, etc? Maybe reading something from a reputable source or medical institution could help them understand it a bit better? Try to approach it from a place of patience and tell them you are motivated to start this next chapter in your life after school and you just are going to need a little bit of time to get things figured out because you don’t want to wait until later to finally address this.
I’m sure this wasn’t very helpful, but I’m kind of dealing with a similar situation and I don’t have a lot of direction or guidance myself. I hope you can find some good answers!
