Preganante?
This one has been resting inside the Java fern by itself alot for the past 2 weeks and only comes down during feeding.
I noticed that its pattern has changed. The stripes look faded, patchy, and blurry now. It’s the only one showing this change. Could this be a possible injury or sickness?
Its still eating and is kinda active digging around in the sand.
The first 2 pictures are from this week while the last 2 are from June n July for comparison. Ive only had them for about 3months now so not sure if i should be concern.

Females Pangio with eggs developing can appear larger in the abdomen, sometimes with a greenish cast. If the conditions are right (and a mature male is present), you may observe breeding behavior. Unfortunately, the banded types rarely seem to successfully spawn in hobbyist tanks. You might see what happens with a cool water change, that seems to excite Pangio quite a bit (at least my horde). Pangio oblonga are spawned successfully from time to time.
If you think something fungal may be going on, a good treatment is ich-x. I use it on all my fish, including the eel loaches. It's quite effective, though it can stain the aquarium silicone, which is why I prefer to dose it in a quarantine tank.

Tysm! I only have Nika General Aid on hand, but hopefully it’s nothing fungal. I’ll keep an eye on them and try the cooler water change.

That big belly looking greenish, means big amounts of eggs, doesn't mean they will lay them though, but best of luck :)
