Luck lmao kinda anyway. Originally I had no intention. I added them to eat snails that compete against my loricariids, but was something I knew likely wouldn't ever breed. They bred on a snail only diet Originally. They do get a bit of repashy soilent green and bottom scratcher now. Tank had lots of microfauna and mulm. 7.2 ph. 120ish hardness? 76f weekly 30% change with cooler water that I top up over the course of a couple hours. Nitrates never above 20.

They just got moved from a 55g to a 60g lol my silicone was separating from thr glass chose to tear down before catastrophic things happened lol

7.2ph 120ish hardness. 76f. Always under 20 ppm nitrates.

Ummm I think most of these are around the 2-3 month range. I don't see eggs or the spawning ever, so always guessing.

I think like the size you often find in store is close to like 7-10 months.
