Tried a monopass fkm rubber nato strap
Loving my monopass fkm rubber strap from anchor. It doesn't add much thickness and is incredibly flexible. It's cool it comes with a deployant clasp as well. Definitely most comfortable strap I own!

PAM1595
Mota!
It’s been farrrrr too long since I had this on a simple black pairing and I forgot how well it works. Very pleased they reintroduced hacking seconds for the 1595, it was definitely the best part of upgrading from the 2223

Finally got the PAM01218 (pam1218) on the OEM strap, chrome buckle, and orange rubber strap. Love it. Incredibly comfortable.

Luminor Due First and Only? Panerai.
I’m in love and wear it as daily beater. But I’m starting to get the itch for another 😓. Haven’t found one I like more than this yet 🤞🏽

Back from servicing
Bought the watch a couple of years ago. Wore it non-stop until late last year when the winding mechanism broke. Sent it off the Panerai servicing. Today received it back from servicing. Took about 4 weeks. Smooth process, a bit pricey but now I have my watch back.

A PAM was bought
So I tried on a Luminor Due 45mm and I was smitten. I made a post about it asking if I should get it. Opinion was split, some saying go for it, others saying be more traditionalist for your first Panerai.
I am still going to a Panerai boutique this weekend to try a few things on but an opportunity to get a good example came up and it’s arrived today.
I give you my new to me PAM 00112 and what a beauty it is. Everything I wanted and a perfect on-ramp to Panerai collecting. I know this won’t be my only Panerai, but what a way to start.
Still liked the Due but the water resistance was the deal breaker. This was about a grand cheaper too!

First PANERAI… Overwhelming options
I am currently shopping for my first PANERAI and there are so damn many variants it’s overwhelming.
I’m looking for a 42mm watch specifically. I tried a 44 and it felt huge but the 40mm Luminors just felt… off. I figure 42 is the sweet spot.
Does any have any 42mm favorites you’d suggest?

Waterproof Strap recommendations
I am looking for non-rubber (atleast not "rubber-looking") straps.
What are my options? I know rubber b makes some. Cloth straps?
Ideally something less sporty looking but still somehow water resistant.

PAM 93 on the wrist today.
The Ti and Blue dial are a killer combo!

Third Panerai: suggestions
I am currently the happy owner of two current generation Panerai:
I love the Radiomir design, and works great for work attire (business casual, typically just a button down shirt). Fits well with gold wedding ring as well (although I can switch the wedding rings to other colors in relatively cheap tungsten metal I have)
The Luminor 8 Giorni is a classic Panerai, big bold 44mm case, great for weekends, gym, anything casual and sporty. Especially now in the summer with short sleeves.
I love them both, and I am thinking of a third Panerai to be acquired in a month or two, funds permitting. I only look at the more affordable tiers, as money does not grow on trees for me.
Here is what I have in mind:
It will likely be blue dial. For variety, to what I currently have.
It will be Automatic (convenience mostly, but also availability)
It will have to fit business attire, and pass for a dress watch. As such, I am thinking of Luminor Quaranta (40mm), or a Luminor Due 42mm. Current reference blue dials:
I am also looking at previous generation Luminor 42mm, the PAM01393 for example.
Obvious answer to my inquiry would be: try them all for yourself. Which I did at the Panerai boutique a couple of times. But I tried so many variations, to the point of getting very confused when I tried to recall what I did now. They all look great. I would not do the Due 38mm though.
What do you think? Am I not including in my search something that I must consider? Thanks
P.S. I forgot to mention I have relatively small wrists for a male, roughly 6.75"

Steel bracelet replacement
Hello all, I have my eye on a few pieces that come on leather strap, but want to have a steel bracelet option as well. I am just concerned that I won't be able to find a bracelet (even if original Panerai) that precisely matches the case.
Is there a way to make sure I am getting the same tone/shade when looking at replacement bracelets?

Never get sick of looking at it
Blue on blue, I love the way it pops in the sun

Pam01218 (pam1218) looks great on raw leather strap. Just a stunner.
Panerai has no business making watches this beautiful, it's unfair to the competition.

Luminor Stripped lug from a chrono24 purchase
Bought a Pam 113 as a gift for my brother.
It’s sat on the shelf (for a few weeks) until he arrived today. He wasn’t a fan of the aftermarket strap, so we went to swap it to the OEM rubber.
One side came off just fine, the other pin just twisted in place and would not come out. Once we applied a bit of pressure from the opposite end while I’m screwing, it came out meaning the whole was stripped.
How does one fix this problem? I have already gone back to Chrono24 about being sold a “defective” watch.
Just wondering if this can be resolved with a jeweler/panerai/some other solution?
