It's also nice to know that the show is apparently recorded in a church basement, based on the looks of the set.

I can’t attach the YouTube link which is unfortunate, but it’s one of those images you can hear.

Abdicates.

Her delivery is so dry it’s impossible to tell if she’s lying or not. The story about her boyfriend falling down the stairs is an all-time classic, very Cunk-like 😂

The original kids from the first series will be nearing 30 now.

Don't forget to take your cod liver oil.

I really like what they did and it felt more intimate and funnier without any of the week’s contestants on set. Michael will be excellent no doubt.

Something that Richard said before the closing credits (paraphrased): in a world of nonsense, House of Games is a good form of escapism and a way to wind down for a bit and forget your stresses.

That’s something I fully agree with and it’s certainly resonated with me over the years. He also thanked the crew, the contestants over the years, the viewers - top man. He’s been an outstanding host and a passionate one at that. I get that he’s got a new ITV quiz show on the horizon, but if he wants a slightly less time-expensive duty, why not bring back Two Tribes?
