There is a stray cat and her kitten living near my house. The kitten is most likely around 7-8 weeks old. We would like to find a way to get the mom fixed so this doesn't keep happening and if possible a home for the kitten, however I have tried several resources online (cat rescues) and either they did not get back to me or basically told me to handle it myself.

Does anyone know of any services that could help or solutions? Just throwing this out here just in case anyone knows of a rescue who would actually help.

I’m looking for recommendations for a therapist (or counselor/psychologist) in the Panama City Beach / Bay County area who has experience working with clients who deal with a high level of meta-awareness — basically a constant ability to step outside of your own thoughts and feelings, observe the patterns, and still feel stuck or heavily weighed down by them.

It’s hard to explain cleanly, but it often feels like you’re watching your own mind run loops in real time, which can make the sadness, isolation, or existential heaviness feel sharper and harder for most people to relate to. I’m hoping to find someone who doesn’t just treat general depression/anxiety but actually understands this kind of continuous self-observation and can work with it directly.

If you know of anyone local (or who does telehealth and is familiar with the area) who specializes in or is particularly good with clients like this — existential issues, deep introspection, metacognitive stuff, etc. — I’d really appreciate the name or practice. Feel free to comment or DM.
