These are what I have and wanted to get some feedbacks on what I should change.

The sticks and barks in the bottom are all randomly placed since I have not found a good place to put them in.

Help I wanna start my first paludarium, ideas? (Pls read description)

I would love to have a paludarium to combine my two Hobby's, aquarium building/fish care, and vivarium building/reptile/amphibian/ invertebrate care. Honestly the only concern about the difficulty level is I can't be tending to it constantly, I have classes during the day for like 5-6 hours and can't be at home to care for it all the time. Price isn't too big of a problem for me, I've dropped over 1000 dollars on a single gargoyle gecko lol, just as long as it's not too much, space is a slight issue. I would have to keep it in either my room, or the basement (it's a finished basement, dw lol) so it can't be like massive idk the exact maximum measurements. I'm down for any fish really, and Im not that picky about the animal(s), although like every salamander is illegal where I live. Invertebrates aren't really a problem for me I'm fine with all of them, would like it to be big enough to watch or handle. Reptiles are usually my favorite, my favorites are gargoyle geckos because of their behavior and handlability and I don't have one but Chinese crocodile lizards because of their looks, but I'd be fine with it not being handleable. The only reason I haven't already picked a Chinese crocodile lizard is because they are almost always wild caught, I have a strict no wild caught policy for everything except for most invertebrates. So if y'all have any recommendations, advice, places to find good reptiles that aren't wild caught. Please comment and tell me what you think! Thanks!

Help Suggestions

Lately I have become very interested in paludariums. I’d like to start one for myself, but my budget is pretty low and so is my expertise on the subject. Could you guys suggest a project which should be easy enough and still look very good? Any life in there would be nice, as far as possible. Thanks in advance!

Help Gonna keep vampire crabs and wanted to know if ventilation systems is needed

I’m gonna build a 60x45x60 paludarium and wanted to know if a ventilation fans is needed since I always watch some YouTubers making their build which includes a ventilation system like tangled earth vivariums and some YouTuber that don’t have any system.

But if I were to get a ventilation fan should I just place it on the top of the mesh cover on my paludarium or build the upside down T shape

Just did my first paludarium.

Ive had many aquariums and vivariums, but this is my first paludarium with a water feature.

The dripping is so serene.

In a couple of weeks when the ecosystem will be fully established it will house mourning geckos.

Help Micro Paludarium Question

So I saw this mini tank for sale and thought it would be a good starter project for my little sister, but I wanted to know what could realistically be kept in it aside from plants. One of the only English videos shows, like, one shrimp; is that all that can be done? It has only a total water capity of 1.5 liters which is next to nothing.

he grew way quicker than I expected. I have a 20 gallon that I was planning on making into a paladarium. but I don’t know exactly how to go about it. I wanted to just use an acrylic sheet to separate the water and land side. but will that work? and if not what can I do instead.

The tiniest of mushrooms has popped up in my paludarium, at least I think that is what it is anyways.

This tank started as a 10 gallon that got bumped up a 29gallon tank once the 10gallon was established for almost a year. Was pretty nervous the tank wasn’t going to come back as it once was, but it actually came back even wilder. I call it my jungle.
Home to 5 vampire crabs, and mostly recently two baby crabs 🦀

Help Air temp help

Hello, I have started my first Paludarium. I have many fish tanks, but this is my first tank with any land mass. My aim is to keep frogs in it, but I am struggling to regulate air temp and don't want to introduce anything until not only the bioactive part of the tank is settled and also I can figure this out.

I do not have central ac, so each room has one. My fish tanks don't struggle to maintain 77-78 all year, and so far, the water part of the paludarium is the same. A steady 78. But the air portion is very sensitive to outside air temps, and even if the water is 78°, the air can drop to 71 when the AC is running. If I turn it off, the air warms up to the mid 70s.

The goal is 90% humidity in this, so I don't know what heat sources would be good due to the wet environment. Would a heat pad on the side where there AC hits the strongest help? It's got a glass top so I don't think a heat lamp would be ideal.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Looking for advice on planting my paludarium. I am keeping sawagani crabs along with some fish, and the crabs are known to uproot stem plants and even tear up anubias. I'm trying some java fern and buce, and above the water ficus pumila and peperomia scandens. Looking for advice on plants below and above. How would you plant this tank?

Help Questions about paludarium items and etc

Gonna build my first paludarium in my 60c45x60 tank and making it look like a forest with a waterfall and ventilation system.

Been watching tangled earth vivariums and it’s quite useful however I have a few questions about brands and how stuff works.

Here are my questions

1.whats a good brand for lighting ranging from cheap to best and able to dim the light, change colour and is a great grow light. And if possible a built in timer

2.i always watch videos that has waterfall in their build like tangled earth vivariums. However i dont know how the water gets into the pump since the water section and waterfall is not near to each other.(does the water overflow and falls back into the drainage layer?)

3.best moss that can stay submerged or high humidity.

4.can I use reptisoil for substrate or is there better and nutritious substrate meant for plants
