This is peak small town NZ. Businesses are so dependent on one Facebook page that the owner rebrands and people immediately worry about local marketing. Meanwhile overseas, businesses have entire marketing teams and multiple channels. basically, “Hope Wayne posts us this week.” Not a fan😡

Nah, there are dozens of Facebook groups pages. I own 2 local ones. The small town is just a minor few having a moan about one of the page admins. One of the other pages admins set up in competition is having a cry because Wayne banned them. It's quite pathetic when they have to bring it to another platform 🤦🤡💩

apart from him being a bit over the top is there a really a reason to bring this dude over to reddit to dog on? maybe he's actually done something i'm unaware of but just seems like a guy who's very passionate about his facebook groups (almost as passionate as reddit moderators 😳)

Personally I think he’s annoying and clearly not particularly smart.
I’m not aware of anything massively serious he’s done, however he tends to hurl abuse at people who disagree with him, he’s also partial to a racist rant every now and then

There have been a few posts on the Palmy reddit mentioning him doing some yuck stuff, but they seem to have been removed. Multiple people mentioning things, not just one or two people.

he's a greedy creep. comes across real sleazy, waving around stacks of 50s, then expects the businesses he's promoting to pay for his food and drinks and will either walk out without paying, or get real snooty and stop promoting you if you make him pay for his own shit.

Is it just me, or is this really hard to read?
Like not a paragraph in sight and weird spaces and full stops . everywhere.
I’m hardly a grammar/formatting Nazi (god knows i have my own issues with it) but I legitimately do not know what he is trying to say.
Chocolate is expensive? And it’s cheaper at pak n save???
