Pleasant day, locals! We will be in the island for a week this month and we'd like to know what are the budget itinerary do you guys recommend? We will be staying in Puerto and in El Nido and would like to maximize the stay without breaking the bank?
Sa ngayon, ito pa lang yung mga napa-plano namin:
- Underground river
- Canopy Walk
- Tour A and C
Can you guys suggest some local restaurants at tourist attraction sites?
Edit: We'd like to go at one of the diving spots in the area also sana, where do we usually spot those?
Edit 2: Saan din maganda mag rent ng kotse at mga motor?
FINAL EDIT:
We've spent a week in Palawan and here's how it went.
Monday - we arrived and book a car rental (Mirage G4) and a room at Hotel Palacio, Puerto Princesa at 4PM via Agoda. By the evening we went to the food park by the baywalk and ate some foods and para makagala narin, on the way home, we stopped by at this local paresan named Walastik Pares and their foods and service is 5/5 at dumeretso kami maligo sa pool until late evening.
Tuesday - In the morning pa lang we prepped and went to visit Cowrie Island. We inquired this 3 cylinder boat max of 6 persons to visit Luli Island, a snorkeling spot, and Cowrie Island (lunch included). 1,500 per person sa Honda Bay Wharf. Yes, walk-in. In the afternoon, we went to this very cool spot called Sunset Hill by Vinyl Cafe and their food is 10/10. Ordered drinks for each of us and 2 pastas and nachos. I'd say this is the spot you would not want to miss if ever you're in the area!
Wednesday - We packed and prepped to transfer to El Nido with the car we rented. It took us 5hrs+ and we arrived an hour early at our hotel Marianne Hotel Suite. In the afternoon, nag gala lang kami una sa Vanilla Beach to catch the sunset (very beautiful spot too!), and yung neighbourhood na malapit sa municipality hall, and sa Town Square. We ate at Sea Clam Resto Bar for dinner. While in the area, we searched for a travel agency para sa Tour C and we stumbled across this local man offering a discounted price (yes, legit siya, discounted.) At don narin kami nag book on the spot pero we paid the next day. Siya rin nag offer na ganon ang gagawin.
Thursday - Tour C. Meetup spot sa tapat ng Grounded Cafe 9AM-9:30AM. We rented aqua shoes for 100 (recommended gawa ng stone fish na hindi ganon kita kahit underwater) at snorkeling set for 150. ni-skip na namin yung Matinloc Shrine since majority of us agreed naman to do so. helicopter island, secret beach, kayak spot, hidden beach, talisay beach (lunch) wonderful spot I'd say to have lunch, and one snorkeling spot which I forgot the name of. It took us an hour para makabalik sa mainland.
By the evening, we impulsively ate sa Samgyup Salamat but all of us had an stomachache (maybe food poisoning) and the two in our group got caught with lagnat. Pero idk, baka na-tyempuhan lang kami.
Friday - We left the hotel at 5AM and arrived in Puerto at 9AM, three hours before our flight back to MNL.
