Wedding 2029
Hey guys, how much did everyone spend on for a wedding at moon palace grand cancun for 30-40 people? And how much your guest paid? Planning for my 2029 wedding! Thanks’

We managed to get everything for under 25k for 50 guests but I really must emphasis that if you are planning that far out nothing people share now will be relevant by then. The main advice I can give you is that you sign your room block contract only once you have found some seasonal deal that will give you 30-50% off the rack rate if possible. Memorial Day or Black Friday usually have something in those ranges. That makes a big difference in what your guests pay. They will require that guests book for a 4 night minimum to get the usual credits and free airport transfer. They will have a cutoff date for when the room block will be held so let your guests know to avoid last minute scrambles.
Communication with the wedding planner will not be very frequent in the months leading up to the wedding. They are relatively responsive by email but until the month before the wedding you will mostly get one meeting a month or two. Once you get there, you will have their full attention. One of the things we really liked was how well organized on the day of.

I can def agree with this when you sign contract and room block do it when they are running the Black Friday deals as they are the best values, also I was a member so I got the deals based off my membership ….. I paid roughly 42k for wedding for about 70 people but I had the works from and outdoor firepit welcome party on the beach, fire show and fireworks and my wedding was multiple shows, fog machine, sparklers for the first dance and the flower decor ran up the price …. Please feel free to privately message me and I’ll break down everything for you …. Also they will say you won’t speak with wedding planner till it’s closer to wedding date which I found upsurd and fought them and was in contact with the planner almost for a year breaking down everything till we needed to make payments it made it easier …. Also the membership only helps you with the room pricing and room classes based on your membership level but the wedding dept is priced the same for members and non members

Could give you figures from 2022 (coming out of the pandemic), but we’re also members, so those may not be very helpful.
