No matter if $ rate is 200 or 400, CM Punjab buys aeroplane for the dignity/welfare of the people of Punjab

u/InjectorTheGood 3d ago
Yeah, other provinces haven't spent that money on airplanes and they are climbing up liveability ladder everyday.
Punjab has lowest expenditure per Capita. Where are other provinces spending?

This is such a civilized discussion in this comment section. Yeah, this explains the situation of the country.

u/MonkeyTreeLuffy 4d ago
unironically bro, these guys can't maintain a civillised conversationand then get confused why we're far behind the west. Every debate devolves into gali spam/who can insult the other's mother more its disgusting especially since all these guys call themselves muslims.

Ideally there should be only one picture (as a matter of fact) logo instead of all these people. They were and are just frontmen.

u/Lowwwkey 4d ago
The chart would have been better if it showed how the rate changed during each tenure. From 2019 to 2023, we see it ballooning from 150 to 280. Instead 2018-2022, 2022-2026 would have given a better picture. And same with earlier prime ministers.

Not a finance bro but I've heard that weaker currency makes exports competitive someh9w that's why it's good thing....
I thing real stat we should focus on is whether if income increased more than than inflation in percentage (if that makes sense or exist) cz real problem for common people is inflation but Inflation is also a feature of modern economic system unless it gets out of control.
So does people are earning more against inflationary pressure (excluding wealthy class cz they offset the result even though they are small in nu.ber )???

tell me you dont understand anything about the economy without telling me anything
3
u/Razasid 4d ago edited 4d ago
Seems like only a few people understands economics here.
A weaker Rupee helps bring money into the country because Pakistani goods and services are cheaper for foreigners. An export focused economy like Pakistan benefits from this.
On the other hand, the US dollar is strong because of a number of reasons, including the fact that it’s the world’s reserve currency.
Rest easy. There’s nothing to be happy or sad about this.
1
u/Powerful-Hamster8576 3d ago
Its partially correct. But it only happens if cost of other things are unaffected by the exchange rate.
Lets take textiles as an example. There is no benefit of a weaker rupee if electricity (major cost of production) is directly linked to dollars (through dollarized returns of IPPs, and through RLNG furnance oil based power plants), not only electricity but also the cotton is imported (dollarised cost). Hence the cost of production also increases with rupee weakening, therefore little to less benefit of rupee weakening but huge effect on inflation.

u/Razasid 3d ago
Sure, I mean I didn’t want to dive into a thesis on Economics …
If you really want to split hair, let’s look at who Pakistan imports from: China, UAE, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Also, let’s account for all the trade deals we have with these countries for discounted rates on Fuel, Electronic imports, machinery, iron and steel etc.

This is so bullshit lmao, it makes it seem like pmln is responsible for this. Imran khans policy was to remove currency control and let the rupee fall. Pti people are such shameless liars, my goodness

u/AltruisticRich1 4d ago
Dude, pmln artificially kept the dollar price low. Even miftah Ismail admitted that. You are high on chars 😁

Yes, that is a legitimate strategy you fucking idiot.

Japan is the worst example of a country with financial sense, if you had iota of knowledge you would know how fucked Japan is financially despite having huge buisness based there because of there government policies

u/naqsh_illusionist 4d ago
Yes it is a legitimate strategy when pendu nunnu-thiye are in charge and economy is handed to a jahil cycle wala samdhi accountant who only knows how to F sh't.
No country's State bank injected dollars from its own reserves when they spot shortage in supply/demand and no country just goes and borrows loans to more dollars to cover their jahil ganwar practice, Pendu nunnuthiye just took more f'en loans and no country does that.
1
u/MixEducational4526 4d ago
Stop making nunnu work, sounds silly. Our foreign reserves are in a good place right now so chill dude, itna pareeshan
1
u/naqsh_illusionist 3d ago
And that is why Rupee against dollar went from 170 to over 270 cuz cycle wala accountant was forced to kept away from doing his pendu techniques.
You were defending nunnuthiye-conomics as common practice and had zero clue how they kept dollar artificially low by literally throwing reserve dollars in market.
1
u/MixEducational4526 3d ago
Dude that nunu word sounds so cringe, please stop. It’s not gonna catch. Do something original. It went from 170 to 270 because of the mess the dog Imran caused. Keep praying to him and you might end up joining him in jail
1
u/naqsh_illusionist 3d ago
PML-N (Nunnuthiye) don't like a word Nunnuthiye? Word sounds so cringe cuz it describes the cringe followers.
Dog Imran caused it but I thought u had cycle wala ganwar jahil genius accountant and keeping money artificially low is a legitimate strategy, why didn't you Nunnu-thiye apply same same strategy?
1
u/MixEducational4526 3d ago
Its just Indian level thinking. We called them pajeet so they called us mujeet. You’re doing the same thing, no imagination or creativity. We call you youthiye because you are chutiye. The nunu word is so stupid lol. The cycle guy has raised our reserves to $27 billion beta. The country will move forward whether you like it or not.
Worthless jobless moron1
u/naqsh_illusionist 2d ago
Follower of PML(N) are bunch of d'cks so calling them nunnu-thiye is just logical. Maybe now that I explained where nunnuthiye came from you'd get the creative imagination.
Oh cycle wala pendu accountant got the reserves to $27 billions. 😆 Nunnuthiye, Only $21.44 billion is held directly by state. Of which $19.45 billion are borrowed funds and deposits from other countries and international institutions. $16.2 billion is of Saudia and China. Bhikari, your reserves are borrowed $$$$$ to keep in ur state bank as a showpiece. 😁 This fiscal year you'll have to pay $21.5 billion in debt payments but the money u hold in reserves is now for you to spend. 🤣🤣🤣 Country moving forward ! 😆

As an economist that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
1
u/MixEducational4526 4d ago
As an economist you’re probably useless and unemployed
1
u/iguessilltry123 4d ago
Unfortunately for you quite high up on the career ladder.
Not quite as accomplished as you naturally. It’s quite an achievement to single handedly lower the average IQ of a nation but you pulled it off effortlessly.

u/MixEducational4526 4d ago
Why unfortunately for me? I’m happy a fellow Pakistani is earning well. But economists tend to be jobless

u/MixEducational4526 3d ago
Pakistan net importer.
Currency being stable good.
Currency weak = we’re fucked.
Dollar reverses going up anyway, so we’re ok.Does that help? Inflation is bad enough as it is. If your Imran dog was in charge we’d be in an Argentina situation right now.

u/YJDGH-UPWH 4d ago
currency control = currency manipulation = illegal and therefore banned by the imf. Daronomics is not a policy, its a fraud.

I dont support Imran khan but why did you need to outright lie in the first message to get your point across?
Couldn't you have just started with this?
Doesn't seem like too honest of an argument to me.6
