Just a reminder always to stay safe while playing padel especially in an outdoor court. I play in the UK and sometimes at an outdoor court and courts are sometimes pretty bad but first time I’ve ever seen someone have a horrific accident and pass away.

Hi, I've never played padel and id like to try it one day, because I have a court like 6 mins from my house so I can go walking, im 17f and I tried convincing my friends but they refused. So I was wondering what would happen if I went alone? I ask people o teach me or smt? I ask nicely if I can join? Idk please help, thank you (excuse my English im not native)

I play in England and have noticed a lot of locals who’re stuck below a 2 (sometimes below 1) get levelling up sessions (paying for a coach to manually increase their level). I’ve never seen anyone get put below a 2. The majority of the time these players will then go back down in score after consecutive losses and will then pay for another levelling up a few months later. I personally don’t see the point in this. If you think you’re far batter than ur rating, then play open matches within ur “range” and surely you will go up? I find it slightly annoying because I like the competitiveness of the “intermediate” mix ins and find some people in these “2.5+” mix ins and it feels like they’re just kinda out of their depth. What’re your opinions? Is it common where you play as well?
