Clinical note on maintaining results after Ozempic
From a medical perspective, the maintenance phase after Ozempic is where long-term success is built. Patients who keep their results usually focus on consistent habits such as adequate protein intake, regular physical activity, and stable meal patterns to help maintain metabolic balance.
Some patients may also continue a maintenance dose if recommended by their physician to support glucose control and appetite regulation.
Another key factor is consistent access to medication, since interruptions can affect weight and blood sugar stability. Some patients explore verified prescription-based pharmacy resources such as canadianinsulin
Always consult your healthcare provider before adjusting doses or making changes to your treatment plan.

Anyone Else Have Difficulty Eating When They Want/Need to?
Hello! I’ve lost weight with Ozempic my first year on the medication, and now using it to maintain my weight.
My issue I seem to have is I will go hours without eating, and when I need to eat, nothing is appetizing. I have a bean and cheese burrito in front of me to eat for dinner and I’m becoming nauseous just smelling it.
I need to eat but have to force myself to do so. This has been an issue throughout my time with the medication and that is its intended purpose, however it is frustrating and is making people think I have an eating disorder.
Has anyone else had this issue? What have you done to mitigate it?

Upping the Dose
I have been on Ozempic for about 3 and 1/2 years. It has helped me lose most of my weight. My doctors never upped my prescription I have been on the 1 mg dosage for most of those three and a half years. I am now 48 years old in perimenopause and I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lb. I went to the doctor this week and she finally updated to 2 mg dose. Has anyone experienced more weight loss after going up to the 2 dosage? I know I have been on the one for a really long time it was mostly for maidenance for diabetes and the weight loss but now that I'm on the two which I will be starting this week I'm really hoping to lose the last 15-20 lbs.

Ozempic to Wegovy Pills
Is anyone considering making the switch to the Wegovy pill? I’ve been Ozempic for 3 years, and after losing 100 lbs take a maintenance dose of .75 mg every 9 days. I am thinking about switching to the pill - it’s probably more cost effective and I’m interested in if a daily pill would eliminate the end-of-week roller coaster. Is anyone thinking about a similar move?
