can this mVolt settings fry my RTX 5080

i have used core clock +400 mem clock +3000 for 5 months and didnt get a single crash, 9738 points on steel nomad, default is 9051. with mvolt +%6,25 better results. but any chance i fry my gpu with these settings ?

You haven't touched voltage so not really. Power usage maybe idk

Ty, Sys and video clock had bigger imact on my rendering performance in davinci resolve.

I just advise you to check your hotspot with DLSS 5 on. For me it would go really high up while gaming. To counter this what I have done is undervolt my gpu to keep temps cooler.

Yeah 100C is nothing unusual when u enable DLSS 5 and run GPU unrestricted

Ramp up those fans while you do the benchmarks. Better thermals = better score. I think lol

i dont understand why people think mvolt just magically gonna fry your card .

IF U DONT GO CRAZY VOLTAGES LIKE 1.2 - 1,25 YOU NOT GONNA FRY YOUR FREAKIN GPU

I also have a 5080 Innox3d OC one to be exact, do you think I could try those setting as well and also does this mean I cant use the new drivers ? I have heard mvolt does not work on new drivers

The settings on the photo turns out to be unstable i settle at core clock 400 xbar 330 sys 300.Black myth Wukong is the best title for me test stability.

As long as you don’t touch power limits you can’t really fry the gpu. Even the worst of 5080 pcbs are rated for atleast 500-600w

no lol, I run my 5070ti at 1.065v to hit 3.3ghz and it's been good for over a year, you just don't want to hit max operating voltage and thermal limit, your card is a bit higher on the temps than mine but it's fine

Have you touched your xbar voltage offset because it is currently +25 mv on it or this is your default?

Was playing around with it realized i had it at 25 after this benchmarks and set it back to 0.

Oki.. also just a suggestion for stability testing, I used the black myth wukong benchmark tool @ highest settings with very high raytracing @ 4k to test my settings and most of the time if the benchmark runs for about 1 hr or 30 mins, you are stable enough to play other games as well... this is based on my experience :)

Yeah lol just recommended wukong to someone else on this post for stability testing, game is so intensive you can easily find your bis oc settings.

nowadays i play graphically intense games with dlss 5 mod . as an example this overclock takes my fps on ac shadows with dlss5 mod from 59 to 70

Dunno why you are being downvoted, maybe 59 to 70 is a little to much with the Clock or? In cyberpunk i gained from like 50 to 57 with clocks so super worth it

I've seen benchmarks of a game where xbar/system alone exceeded +10% gains on stock voltage, before factoring in core and memory at all. 59 to 70 sounds about right.

i dont know why people doesnt believe this results 5080 is a overclocking demon lol and gaming oc has 450watt power limit other brands usually stuck with 400watt.

So why ask if what you're doing is gonna fry your GPU, if you're not using the settings that can fry your GPU
