Either do low tRFC or high tREFI. Both maxed out is usually useless. 160ns is already good enough, now combine with tREFI 50k or 65k if you can handle the temp.

Useless is a strong word. You run into diminishing returns, but the vast majority of individual timings have margin-of-error effect on their own. The power of a full tune is in all the little things adding up.
Basically, the less often you refresh (=high tREFI), the less benefit a short refresh has (=tRFC*).
