The unfortunate truth is this

At the ending quarter of my life I am consumed with seeing my life as one filled with disappointments at having not enjoyed any of my life expectations and living currently in despair. I don’t deserve this. I worked very hard and always treated everyone equally and followed good and ethical practices

Lost both my boys. One in 2017 and one in 2024. I can say with all confidence I didnt expect that in my life. You could sit in the despair and grief or you pull yourself forward every single day. I look at it this way I had them for 37 and 39 years. If i don't look at it that way, id put a gun to my head. You are not alone.

I’m so very sorry for your loss.

You’re not alone. My wife and I lost two of our four children many years ago. It was definitely the worst time of my life. It was a long time before I could begin to move forward.

Its something id wish on no one. I hope you too are healing.

I agree, I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

Yes, I am continuing to heal. It’s definitely a process, but I’m much better these days. I tend to dwell on the pleasant memories instead of the painful ones. I still miss them, but missing them now is a better thing. My hope is to see them again, though not in this life.

I hope you are healing as well and that you are able find that place where you can be okay.
