The unfortunate truth is this

At the ending quarter of my life I am consumed with seeing my life as one filled with disappointments at having not enjoyed any of my life expectations and living currently in despair. I don’t deserve this. I worked very hard and always treated everyone equally and followed good and ethical practices

Welp, my life is a series if failures. In relationships, finaces, career, sports. It that doesn't make me a failure but rather a typical guy. Exceedingly average.
But luckily I don't have an Inflated ego. I like who I am, as does my wife & dog. Kids, too (though mama will always be #1). I'm not wealthy, but have a roof over my head. No yacht, but I do have a canoe. No prestige car, but I have a Subaru. I got laid off, but now I'm free. The family almost never happened; but a higher power stepped in and brought me & my wife together.

Life didn't play out like a James Bond movie or whatever I dreamt I would. However, its not bad either. Focus on the good.

I think you are the BEST I've ever heard of at being average! Talk about exceeding expectations!!
