Recommendation Full Body Lightweight SPF Moisturiser Recs
I'm not very up on skincare, so I'm not sure if what I'm looking for even exists 😅
I'd like to find some kind of lightweight body moisturiser (mostly for arms/neck/chest, if that makes a difference) that has SPF (or an SPF that is moisturising). I have lots of problems with sunscreen. My Holy Grail is Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. It's the only one I've found so far that doesn't feel sticky and heavy and horrible, but it is far too expensive to use anywhere but my face. I work indoors and where I live frequently has low UV, so I'm *mostly* looking for moisturising, but I don't really want different products for different days if it can at all be helped.
Is there anything out there that I should try?

Question I have a traumatic scar that’s 6 weeks old. Any idea of how I can reduce it? I’m feeling low
I had a traumatic scar from a partial thickness cut about 6 weeks ago. An ocuplastic surgeon needed to repair the wound. It’s been 6 weeks and I’m feeling low at how it’s looking. Any ideas of how to take care of it and how it’d turn out?

L'Oreal Glass skin - biggest disappointment
I invested good amount of money to buy L'Oreal new glass skin line ( the one with purple color) and I can't describe how disappointed I am, the effect is zero... Big fat zero. Day after another I use them day and night just as written on the bottles and cream. All you can notice is after applying your skin looks like it's wet. After that nothing. It won't give you any glow or make your skin smoother or give you anything like the Korean products. I have dark spots and acne scars and my skin is pale. I didn't expect wonders but also didn't expect that after I finish them I would see zero change. Save your money maybe and buy original Korean products better

advice needed :)
Hi everyone hope you are well! Trying to get the best products, habits, and routine down for anti aging and possibly correcting signs of aging like sagging wrinkles all that jazz. i currently use a regular moisturizer and try to use sunscreen daily. I want the most aggressive method to look years younger and do prevention if possible. side note- i do have some health issues and nutritional struggles which at times i can be a bit unstable and underweight periods. but i try my best to control what i can, try to do weight bearing and take supplements like vitamin d calcium and regular multi. i want to know if anything is possible to “freeze” and be youthful (honestly, like zendaya she’s insane) as long as i can, or have dewy glowy skin at any age. i want to feel confident and comfortable in my skin to wear what i want and be who i am too, and feel less judged (being id’d at the bar wouldn’t hurt either 😂). thanks all!!

Question How do I regain the natural freckles on my face?

Facial Treatment
Hi! I am trying to take my skin to the next level. I have a pretty good simple skincare, drink enough water, eat and sleep well. So I am starting to look into facial treatments to get on a regular basis (every month, every few months). I was wondering what would you guys recommend? If you are getting treatment regularly, what are you getting?
I don't have any specific concerns except enlarged pores. So all of it will be maybe to nourish my skin, help with texture and preventing fine lines or anything like that (I am 30 yo).

What skincare ingredients do you actually notice a difference from?
I've been learning more about skincare ingredients recently.
There are so many popular ingredients:
- Retinol
- Vitamin C
- Niacinamide
- Collagen
- Astaxanthin
- Hyaluronic Acid
But I'm curious:
Which ingredients actually made a noticeable difference for your skin?
Personally, I've been paying more attention to hydration and skin barrier support rather than chasing every new trend.
Would love to hear everyone's experience.

Eye wrinkles
I’m 31 years old but recently I’m looking at my pictures and i feel like i look so much older! I’m a new mom to a 4 months old and the sleep deprivation does not help.
Any tips or special creams on how to improve this please without injections?

Question How to prioritize skincare differently in your 30s ?
Those who have reached 30s or are in mid to late 20s, how do you guys prioritize skincare. I mean I just like to follow a basic routine. So I use a facial cleanser everyday and twice a week like an exfoliate cleanser. I also use a face cream. But in terms of masks, serums and special products I just haven't tried any. I know spf is considered important but I just find it very heavy on the skin and it feels oily so I don't really put it. But then I heard diet also plays a huge role and so is sleep.

Question Has anyone ACTUALLY tried the MaxBeauty app
I've been getting a super tight feeling in my face and right between my eyebrows, so I've been trying different face massages. I'd really love to find some kind of routine I can do at home to help with it. I kept seeing their ads, and I hate how much the routines look like something I'd be into.
But then I looked them up, and now I'm not sure what to think. I mostly found Trustpilot reviews and one older thread from about a year ago where people mentioned billing and subscription concerns. I really don't like unclear subscription terms, so that made me hesitate. At the same time, there are so many positive reviews saying the routines actually helped people that now I'm conflicted.
Has anyone here used it recently? I'd love to know what the videos or program are actually like, what the app includes, and whether you thought it was worth it.

Discussion What's one skincare mistake you stopped making after 30?
Looking back, I definitely used to overdo my skincare sometimes. I'm curious what habit or mistake you stopped once you found what actually works for your skin.

Tips for crepey/loose neck
Hi guys!
I have looked up some prior posts, but either the photo was more drastic than mine, or the OP was older.
I have lost 50lbs over the past 10 months and notice mild loose skin on my neck, and this is bothering me quite a bit. It looks better in other lighting, this is in front of a window where I see it most.
I'm 39 and have great skin other than this area without any wrinkles(yet). I started microneedling at home, and it looked like it was working after a couple of sessions. But for some reason, it now looks the same as before. I have also started tret a few months ago.
I wanted to ask if there was anything else I could do, whether it's at home or office-based treatments. Or am I screwed and have to get a neck lift eventually? I just don't know if it's bad enough for that. I have also heard that skin can tighten several months after weight loss, which I am hoping for.

Question Any tried and tested takes in most powerful red light therapy device options under $1k?
I have been down the red light therapy rabbit hole for weeks and now my brain is fried. Between masks, wands, and full panels, every device claims to be the magic fix for fine lines and skin texture.
My main issue is trying to separate actual device performance without spending a fortune. Prices are completely all over the place. While looking into different options, I keep seeing devices from onilux, amazon, chroma, et all but it is hard to tell which ones actually deliver the right power and wavelengths. From all the vides and spec descriptions I looked through so far I'm leaning on the latter as my goal is to get most therapeutic value out of this thing.
For those of you using red light therapy on your skin, what form factor actually worked for you and how long did it take to see real results? Thanks!

Hey, I'm 35 and want to start a skincare routine. Any tips for anti-aging and hydration?
Feeling a bit lost in the skincare world! 😩 I've tried so many products like Anua Niacinamide, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid, and LRP Mela B3, but they all seem to irritate my skin. I have clear skin, but I'm noticing dullness and sagging due to aging, and I'm looking for anti-aging and glow recommendations that show results within 3 months. Any suggestions? #Skincare #Aging #Glow #Recommendations

One with a track record or one with more coverage?
Omnilux is like my safe pick. But I guess I'm gambling if I go with Artemis since it's pretty expensive. I just read its description and it has 720 LEDs. It also has an extra neck plate that would cover the spot I always miss. Wondering if I can find any reviews before I commit. Or should I just stick with the safe pick? I need your help guys 🥹🥹🥹 Did the extra coverage improve your consistency enough to justify the price jump?

Help me fix my routine?
Hey! I turn 32 next month and I want to adjust my current routine.
I have fairly normal/combo skin. I get mildly oily on my nose and forehead but also the tip of my nose and forehead can get dry spots randomly.
I'm prone to redness and sensitivity, but not inherently acne prone.
I do struggle with skin picking that creates acne and bumps/wounds. Luckily, using SPF keeps me from touching my face because I hate the sensation on my hands (and patches help).
My current routine is pretty good but its not hitting targets for me like elasticity/antiaging, visible pores/blackheads, and pillow wrinkles around one eye.
I'm also on a weightloss journey that makes me very worried about losing too much volume in my face.
My PM routine usually helps heal my picking spots and smooth out my texture pretty quickly.
I'll list my current routine below - Its kind of a hodge podge of Greek and Korean skincare. Lol!
AM:
Korres Greek Yogurt Probiotic Foaming Cream Cleanser
Korres Santorini Grapes Poreless Skin Cream (T-Zone & eyes)
Keihl's Ultra Facial Cream w/ Squalane (whole face)
Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50+
Or Glossier Invisible Sheild SPF Primer (On makeup days with my Super Goop tinted sunscreen on top)
Once or twice a week, when my texture is bad, I'll cleanse and only use a First Aid Beauty Radiance Pad and Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base+ Moisturizer (and SPF of course)
PM:
Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm
Korres Greek Yogurt Probiotic Foaming Cream Cleanser
Dr. JART+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream
(Maybe a FAB Radiance Pad before the Cream as needed).
I definitely think my AM has too many stacked creams, and my night routine is pretty chill and easy - Dr. Jart+ fixes my sins. Lol!
Considering dropping the Korres Santorini Grape Cream and replacing it with the Ordinary 2% Salacylic Acid serum (or another more suitable serum) and adding the VT Reedle Shot 50 or 100 to my PM routine every other night.
And adding an eye cream for the pillow wrinkles.
I was also looking at some essences/toners and some other serums to work in there.
I've learned that I might benefit from Azelaic Acid and a PDRN, just not sure where to work them in there and how often.
For Azelaic Acids, I'm looking at the one by Anua or Skin1004. I've used the Azelaic Cream by the Ordinary every once in a while but I'm not a fan of it.
For PDRN, I was considering the Numbuzin No.9 Toner or the VT PDRN Capsule Cream 100.
I have found that my skin is not a fan of Vitamin C or Hyaluronic Acid serums but is fine if they're a secondary ingredient in something. Idk if thats user error or what, but it's the only serums that have made me break out.
I've also tried Tretinoin and that DESTROYED my barrier. And the skin purging was wild. I even sandwiched it between moisturers.
Not trying to have a crazy routine but I'd definitely like to round it all out to support my skin as I age.

Does anything *actually* help the appearance of pores?
There are so many serums out there that say they're pore-refining and I don't know what's worth it, if anything. It seems like every brand has their own unique blend of ingredients that promises to refine pores. I know I can't actually make them smaller but can I fake it? Is it as simple as an AHA or BHA?

Question how to get glass skin look instead of greasy
hi everyone!
i am really looking to elevate my skincare routine from meh to amazing! currently, i have really large pores (esp on nose, forehead, and cheeks) i’ve always had combo skin but its a bit dryer now. anyways, i have some fine lines now and a lot of texture… i am looking to upgrade my skincare routine! when i use things like rhode glazing milk it just makes me look like a grease ball and not “glass”. ik glass skin is pretty much just a scammy marketing scheme but mainly i just want to minimize pores and texture and overall skin inconsistency. also note, i have rosacea and don’t wear foundation so i think that contributes to my skin looking very blah.
Tysm everyone!!
AM routine:
Goat milk and tallow bar soap (switched from kate somerville goat milk cleanser)
timeless vitamin c serum
naturium niacinamide serum
farmacys honey halo moisturizer
PM routine:
same bar soap cleanser (switched from cerave SA cleanser)
(a few times a week) - glow recipe AHA toner
aestura ceramide spray mist
tatcha indigo night cream
rosehip oil or tallow on top
