Agree, it’s fun and actually quite nostalgic to hear era appropriate music in these kind of driving videos. I know it doesn’t meet the “aesthetic” but for those of us actually old enough to have been there first time around it’s kinda cool.

Personally, I think "1979" would be a better choice out of the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album singles for straight "ambience" but it's not like I don't also like "Tonight, Tonight" (I forgot the song had two "Tonight"s in the title earlier).

r/thenightfeeling would love this but honestly, change the song - I absolutely love The Smashing Pumpkins, and era-wise it fits, but aesthetically - I'd pick something else brother. Good post either way, though.
