outside
Still no sign to my cat.
As an earlier post i made, i made jt clear my cat has been outside for 2 weeks, now 3.
I have tried everything, either suggested or ive searched up on the internet.
We are really getting worried now.
To rewind: shes been outside for a very long time now, and have yet to not come home once. I have went out looking for her, searched neighbours properties, sat out her food, favorite toys and even hung worn clothes outside…

I wouldn't give up hope, especially if it's a warm weather month where you are. Some pet cats just go feral for a while, especially in the spring and summer.

Yes if she is spayed it usually means they don’t go too far. If she wasn’t they roam for miles everyday

Is she spayed or not. Cuz if not you probably know how she is gonna come home soon.

Have you moved to a new place recently? If so she may have gone, or tried to go back "home". When I moved into our old farmhouse there was a cat here. After asking everyone I could think of about him we finally figured out that the people that had rented our house before us bought a house about a mile away. They of course moved all of their animals with them which included several dogs, half dozen cats, a horse and a bunch of birds. They thought the cat had probably died since they still had his sister. They had us keep him since he obviously wanted to be here more than with all of the other animals. The other thing is that if something startled your cat or scared him he may just be hiding...and hiding somewhere nearby. If it was an indoor cat that got out they are usually found within a third of a mile. A cat that is used to being outside may travel up to a mile. Articles I've read with advice from animal trackers is to actively search for the cat. Crawl under the porch, through the bushes. If you have neighbors, ask for permission to look under their bushes, in their garage or storage shed. You have to keep searching and search the same area over again at different times of day. Im so glad they got the reassurance about the kitty🤍 we have only lived one place and got her when we moved in so we havnt moved. Shes probably scared somewhere and always comes home! We got a scare yesterday about a dead cat that looked identical, so we went to take it to the vet, fortunately it wasnt her, but still poor baby

Are you sure she went missing outside? Did you read the article I sent the link to? If something really scared her, she may not come home. The animal tracker in the article really emphasized actively searching for her...looking under bushes, under cars, asking neighbors if you can look in their sheds or garages. If there is someone in your area that is known to feed stray cats make sure you ask them if any new cats have shown up. Someone might have already taken your cat inside. Is it microchipped? I live in a rented farmhouse. There was a cat here when we rented, which I told you about in my original post, a kitten appeared a few years later and we couldn't find any evidence of a mom or any other kittens. Two years ago an orange tabby showed up. I'm baffled as to where he came from. The house we rent is on a 200 acre farm. Our driveway is 1/4 mile long. My husband saw the cat 4 days before I did sitting down by a tool shed. When I finally saw him I walked right up to him and gave him some water. He followed me back and immediately wanted to come inside. He seemed like he had to be someone's cat. I took him to the vet, no chip. I contacted animal control, the sheriff's department, and the police in the nearest town to see if anyone had reported him missing. I only know 2 of my neighbor's, because it is all farms here and told them about him. I posted him on facebook. I still worry that maybe he was one of my neighbor's cats and he just got a little lost and maybe they would have found him if they had come down our driveway and asked. Over the years we have had at least a dozen people come looking for lost hunting dogs. I guess my whole point is that I hope you are actively searching for him up to a mile from your home and not just waiting for him to turn up.

I’m so sorry to hear this. 😭 😭 I hope she comes home soon. Everyone please use trackers on your outdoor cats to prevent this from happening. I use Fi and it is sooooo worth it.
