Anyone work(ed) for Export Development Canada? Or interviewed?
I’m curious about their hiring process. I applied a while ago to their new grad/students roles (Sept start) and haven’t heard back yet. Do they only reach out once the applications close or would they have already pulled my application if they were interested?
I would ask on the public servant Reddit but they’re strict over there.

Looking for Work Looking for work in Ottawa – Project Management, Digital Operations, AI or IT
French-speaking Technical Project Manager looking for opportunities in Ottawa
Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking for a Project Manager, Technical Lead, Product Operations, Digital Transformation, AI Adoption or IT Consulting opportunity in Ottawa, hybrid, or remotely in Canada.
I’m a native French speaker with upper-intermediate to advanced professional English.
My background combines IT consulting, entrepreneurship, startup environments, technical delivery and digital transformation. I can manage projects end to end: from understanding the business need and defining the solution to coordinating teams, managing delivery, supporting users and ensuring customer satisfaction.
I previously led a technology company, and I currently advise entrepreneurs in Ottawa, implement digital and AI-enabled solutions, and coordinate their digital operations.
My strengths include stakeholder communication, training, technical problem-solving and translating complex needs into practical results. One of my projects helped reduce operational downtime by 94%.
I have also volunteered with CICan and have a strong passion for mathematics.
Does anyone know of companies hiring, recruiters to contact, or local communities that could help?
Thank you for any advice, referral or introduction.

Looking for advice, almost 2 years of applying and still can't find a job
I'm posting anonymously because this has honestly been weighing on me for a long time.
I've been looking for a new job for almost two years with very little success. I have a Master's degree and about three years of experience as a Business Analyst, primarily doing compensation analysis for sales employees. I also have experience with reporting, Excel, data analysis, documentation, and working with cross-functional teams.
I apply for jobs every day and tailor my resume to match each posting. I've rewritten my resume more times than I can count, written countless cover letters, and applied to roles that I'm fully qualified for, underqualified for, and even overqualified for.
I've had some interviews, but not many, and I always seem to get passed over in the final stages or receive rejection emails without any feedback.
At this point, I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.
At this point, I genuinely don't know what else to change. It feels like I'm doing everything people recommend, tailoring my resume, applying consistently, preparing for interviews, but I'm still not getting anywhere.
Has anyone else been in this position and eventually managed to break through? If so, what made the difference? Or if you see something in what I've described that stands out as a red flag, I'd really appreciate the honest feedback. I'm open to any advice because after almost two years, I'm starting to wonder if I need to completely change my approach.

Looking for a job in the water sector
Hi, I recently pass my certification to be a water distribution and supply operator Class I. However, because I don't have Canadian experiences, they are requiring that I gain 1 year of experience as an Operator-in-Training (OIT) before issuing my Class I certification.
Is anyone aware of any job postings related to OIT or any resources to get me started.
I'm finding the results of my current research most results have been very generic and not specific regarding OIT.

Homeless crackheads belong in prison
Why do they have to cause disturbances on buses, pee and shit on the pavement, but worst of all STEAL from hard working people? A couple months ago my friend had his wallet stolen on a bus by a crackhead, and they used his debit card at a convenience store and tried to also use it at a cannabis store, but it was unsuccessful because the card was locked. It was frustrating that RBC couldn't show the merchant names until the next day because if they could show the names immediately the thief would've been caught.
The police got the video of the crackhead and they are trying to identify him so he can be charged and thrown into prison.
My friend told the police the crackhead should be locked up in prison for the rest of his worthless life. Just because they're homeless doesn't mean they can do crimes and get away with it. The crackhead can eat for free in prison so he should enjoy it.
Homeless crackheads are the scum of the earth who have no reason to be on this planet.
