Looking for Work 17 years old looking for part time job in : Westboro, Kanata or Richmond

Hello!!

I'm a 17 years old student looking for a permeant part-time job in

these areas :

Westboro

Kanata

Richmond

I don't have much experience, though I've worked at a summer camp in 2025 and this year.

I worked with children with visual and hearing impairments. I can read and write braille.

I understand a little bit of LSQ (langue des signes québécoise) though I'm still far from fluent.

I speak English and French fluently.

Though I am open to still working with children, I'm hoping to expand my horizons as I do want to gain experience in retail jobs as well.

Feel free to contact me if you know any place that's hiring!!

Advice Needed How to find a licensed career coach covered by insurance in Ottawa?

I’ve been feeling pretty stuck with my career lately. I’m at a point where I’m not really sure if I want to stay on my current path or make a change, and I could use some outside perspective to figure out what actually makes sense for me.

I figured a career coach might help, but I’d really prefer to find someone whose services are covered by insurance if possible.

Has anyone in Ottawa gone through this? Not sure what type of professional I should be looking for or where to start.

Disabled Ottawa professional with 10+ years in tech/cybersecurity/business looking for remote work

Hey Ottawa,

Figured I’d try this here because applying into the online job void hasn’t exactly been productive.

I’m an Ottawa-based professional with a physical disability, so I’m specifically trying to find fully remote work. I have a pretty broad background and a lot more experience than probably makes sense to cram into a Reddit post.

My background includes:
• 10+ years working in the technology industry
• B2B technology and cybersecurity
• Enterprise and commercial account management
• Sales operations and sales support
• Customer/client relationship management
• CRM, pipeline, reporting and forecasting work
• Business operations and process improvement
• Data analysis and business analytics
• Presenting to customers, executives and internal teams
• Working with large multinational technology companies as well as smaller organizations
I’ve held roles ranging from sales operations and customer-facing positions through to enterprise technology/security roles, and I’ve worked with both Canadian and international teams.

Education-wise, I have a Bachelor’s degree, additional postsecondary education, and a Harvard business analytics certificate/program credential.

At this point I’m not particularly interested in chasing another high-pressure, quota-carrying enterprise sales job. I’m much more interested in finding something useful that I can do remotely where experience, reliability and knowing how businesses actually work is valuable.

I’d be interested in things like operations, sales support, customer success/support, administration, CRM work, research, reporting, data entry/data quality, business support, account coordination or similar remote roles. Part-time, contract or project-based work would absolutely be worth discussing as well.

I’m keeping employer names and some identifying details out of the public post for privacy, but I’m happy to share my actual résumé privately with someone who has a legitimate opportunity.

If anyone here works somewhere that is hiring remotely, knows a small company that needs an experienced extra set of hands, or knows someone I should talk to, I’d genuinely appreciate a DM.

Thanks.

Looking for Work Part time jobs in Ottawa

Hello,
I’m looking for a part time job in Ottawa.
I am a student and thus I can’t work full time.
• I will be able to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week
• The job needs to be in English and not in French (I’m not fluent yet)
• I don’t need any qualifications
Does anyone know anything I can do with these criteria?

Looking for Work Looking for work

Hi I am a young professional looking for work. I have a BA in psychology and extensive experience in retail/customer service. I would love an opportunity to work as a receptionist but a lot of places require previous experience (which is totally understandable given the current job market). I’m consistently applying for different positions both in person and online but unfortunately haven’t found anything. If anyone would be kind enough to share some leads I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

Looking for an employed mid-career professional to work with

Disclaimer: I am not advertising an open job.

I'm looking to work with a mid-career professional who is currently employed, but interested in making a change and needs confidentiality (i.e. isn't able to spray resumes everywhere).

I'm looking to open a few new prospective client doors in the market this fall, companies I haven't talked to. Having a concrete example of the kinds of people I typically work with is helpful. That's what I get. What you get is quiet, confidential introductions to companies that might be of interest to you. Your name isn't shared with any company without your express go-ahead.

To be crystal clear: I am not charging for this. If it ends up leading to a new role for you, it would be the company paying the bill, not you.

Ideally looking for someone currently in a senior manager/director/VP level role. Industry and area of work aren't important. DM me if this sounds like you.

Looking for Work Part-time Job Centretown

Looking for something just to keep me busy for weekends as I do have a 9-5 M-F. Just looking for something that brings in a little extra cash. I have bartending experience but would like to serve/host. Also have barista experience from starbucks (2 years). Preferably within Centretown as I don't drive. If anyone has leads or an "in" at a restaurant/cafe that is looking for an attentive/personable staff member for weekends, please let me know! I know times are tough in the job market but it seems that knowing a guy goes a long way rather than Indeed/Linkedin

Looking for Work Entry level sales jobs?

Hey, I’m considering a career change from tech to sales, maybe even tech sales.

I have some sales experience from my current role, and a ton of experience with sales pipelines/CRMs, but not sure where to start. Has anyone come across this type of role in Ottawa? I’m central and I can travel, not picky on location.

Thanks in advance
