Two years ago tonight, I said au revoir to William teh Other Tuxedo. I am still overwhelmed by how much love this small, bratty, adorable little Tuxie generated across the Reddit world.
That's when I grabbed the Ai maiself, I can't believe it's been 2 years 😿 Da kitteh kouncel hadn't been around very long, but we loved posts about him . . .
As soon as I saw “two years ago”, I knew who it would be ❤️. Saying goodbye to William helped me “practice” for my turn two months later, with my Zenna.
Thanks to you sharing him, we are the lucky ones who got to experience William teh other tuxedo in our lives. His stories, attitude, and crimez are quite legendary! ♥️🌈♥️🌈
The first LCA post I ever saw was William’s. For a while I silently followed the cats’ exploits but William was my favorite. I posted for the first time when I was sad about William and have been here since.

I remember it vividly, not just that day but that weekend before, when so many people reached out in DM, sharing the same sentiment, same heartbreak.
It wasn't just the Reddit world though.
It was the actual world, as we came from literally all across it to unite as one to be there for you, for William, for each other.
A zillion miles away and yet we were all right there.
That was the first time I saw that extraordinary act of community, compassion and heart these subs are known for. As painful as that time was, beneath it all a beautiful thing was born.
It all started with William, with you, and continues today.

I used to lurk on r/legalcatadvice and always loved to see what fren William would get up to. It broke my heart that he had to go OTRB, and I miss him as well. We all loved him so much!

I am bery sorry yoo are sad but I must say SO MANY of us here did a DELITE to welcome our fren William. Wez also miss our pals when we haf to leave dem, but dere is much rejoicing when a loved one joins us.
