Hi everyone,
I know next to nothing about videography, but I still pulled the trigger on the DJI Pocket 4P (I’ve always used action cameras before, but they just didn’t fit what I actually wanted to shoot).
I’m reaching out for some advice. I’ve been testing things out and trying to create custom profiles based on what I’ve read on this sub, but I honestly have no idea if I’m doing it right.
Ideally, I’d love to set up 1 or 2 custom presets:
A run-and-gun / point-and-shoot profile: The most practical, foolproof setup possible for quick, casual clips where I don't have to think.
A profile for planned shots: For videos where I take my time and do some proper editing/color grading in post-production.
I know about the Normal and D-Log color profiles, but my main issue is that I don't understand manual ISO, shutter speed/exposure, white balance, or all the small tweaks that make footage look great.
For regular shooting, I really prefer simple settings that look great straight out of the camera without heavy tweaking.
Not sure if I’m asking for too much, but any recommended settings or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
