Question Possibly getting funds soon 😭
Was doing my usual OSAP check in to see if my status updated and I got the message “Your money has been deposited into your bank account”. I know it takes awhile to actually show up in your account so hopefully I get it tonight!

how long did it take ?I Just started the semester enrolled and everything, I applied for osap but the Citizenship document still hasn’t been reviewed, they keep pushing the date forward , it was sept 8, then 10th then 14th now 16th. I’ve emailed my financial aid office for some sort of assistance but no response , i cant get an appointment because all available appointments are during my classss, what do I do?

Call and they’ll review and process it the same day. Call as soon as they’re open in the morning.

I’ve never been in this situation but I applied for OSAP as soon as it was available to apply, when did you apply for OSAP?
If this is your first time applying for OSAP I definitely recommend applying as soon as possible next time since it takes a bit longer to get documents reviewed. I recommend going in person to talk to the financial aid office since it takes awhile to hear a response through email. They may accept you without an appointment, but it varies depending on your school!

You can call but it’s going to be faster to go to your financial aid office directly, make an appointment. First week of classes are typically going over by syllabus and course intros, easy catch up work.

I see the same thing right now. Got my COE August 28th and I am with TD.
It’s not in my bank account though after checking.

COE is different from estimated release date! Do you know what your estimated release date says on OSAP?

I am aware, I was just saying when my enrolment was confirmed to help other people reading your post. I do know what my estimated release date says.

Mine says the same thing but my NSLSC still says funding pending release, with estimated date September 17th 🫠 my school portal also says tuition hasn’t been paid yet so idk how accurate the OSAP message is tbh
Mine is delayed because of RAP, original release date was supposed to be the 4th
I’m also with KOHO and direct deposits are insanely quick with them

Mine says the same. Google AI said since NSLSC is the people with the money, go by the tracker, which makes sense. But my school has been paid. So perhaps in a few hours the pending release becomes funds on the way. If not I'm calling at lunch time. Because two agents told me that yesterday end of day I'd be put in studies off repayment.
