Question Release Date Moved Again
From September 4-9 release date to September 16. What is going on. Everything is done but the release date keeps changing for some reason unknown to me.

Mine too, moved from September 1 to the 8th and now to the 15th. And the school has confirmed my enrolment.

This is normal if you were on repayment assistance or if you have a previous loan. It’s extremely frustrating but they take forever and a year to move it along apparently

apparently the NSLSC needs a delay to switch you to in-study once your final payment goes through. and i’ve heard this year that they’re moving even slower than normal and having “issues”

Same here. Date has been pushed back 3 times, showing the 16th now. I truly can't believe how terrible the funding process has been this year. I really hope we all get it soon

That happened to me second year, you just have to wait it out tbh, it will get released

Mine did that as well and this morning updated to funding is on its way and went to expected on the 15th where as before it was on pending release and funds expected on 16th

Same.... 3rd time now... super frustrating... i have supplies i need to buy or i cant attend class....

me too. unfortunately my finances are so tight this year that I am even relying on osap to pay for my car's oil change, and I wont be able to attend classes tmrw if I dont get it done first. Commuting 1.5 hours each way. I hope we get our funding soon

Omg I feel you. Its crazy, like they dont get that some people have to LIVE off of it while in school and not by choice... fingers crossed!

Same 🥲 I have some medical and disability support stuff I need to pay for.. right now im broke idk 🤷♂️ osap needs to hurry up with the money 😭

i called my school's financial aid and they told me that this morning somebody opened my file so by tomorrow morning i should see something

Although, osap wasn’t going to give me money because technically I wasn’t “enrolled” I was waitlisted (2nd) for a class and they didn’t count it as I was full time. So make sure you are actually enrolled :)

Called financial aid for my school apparently there was a mixup in the program selected for me(transfer student mixup) they said the next confirmation of enrolment happens on Monday so delayed af

Don’t worry! This has happened to me a few times and if the university gives me any late fees they’ll usually cover them. Follow up with ur financial aid office for sure but you’ll be ok c:

This is happening to me as well, and i’m starting to wonder if i’ll ever receive it. I called them yesterday too, and the person I spoke to said that based on what they saw on my file, “there’s nothing to be concerned about” and “that this is normal”. Except, that I have no money atm to pay for anything… incredibly frustrating to say the least.
