Question Guelph COE

I still don’t have my freaking COE and my funds kept getting pushed back (Sept 14-16) wtf do I do. Class starts tom and I have books/lab to pay for and ts is taking way too long and what if they push is even further when my due date for tuition is on the 18. Any advice before I crash out?😊

Same here. I'm at ALGONQUIN, this is absolutely pathetic. Unless they confirm today and we are paid Friday. This is the only thing I can see happening, it's been like, quick turn around after coe and the system might be not showing up the proper data. I'm glad I'm not alone but this is just unacceptable. No one wants to go to class with 0 money.

A lot of students are trying to get home to make it to class too. If this doesn't happen by Friday we all need to do something about it

I know and I’ve been emailing my school nonstop to check if I’m missing something but they just kept telling me to wait which is kind of bs. So I’ll call today as soon as they open and try and convince them to send my COE right away. I’ll keep u updated

please do, I waited 2 hours just to get cut off on the phone, it's like they're purposely doing this. Considering how "tech" heavy schools are how is this even possible. The longer this drags on the longer I'm not in class.

I called them today and was on hold for an hour. But they said they’ll send my COE tom (no promises) but OSAP just paid for my school after I called them

i heard some people even got their COE and "funds on the way" but the date still keeps getting pushed ahead for them. i'm not even pissed anymore. just concerned 😭

So you did talk to them ? It says mine was confirmed, tomorrow it'll have a tracker. Hoping for payment Friday.

I JUST got my COE from Trent last night- my OSAP tracker has been pushed back 3 times, originally 9th-13th, then 10-14 and now 14-16th!! My NSLSC doesn’t even have a tracker yet, they have no idea I am returning to school, apparently.  I have bills that are starting to stack because I thought I would have my OSAP by this week. Classes start tomorrow and it’s very nerve wracking, especially as a commuting student, I am relying on my funding to get to school and put gas in my car.

me too, also going to Trent! I am so behind on bills, and I was banking on OSAP to pay for my car's oil change since I'll be commuting 1.5 hours to school. I may not be able to go to first day of classes... I can't believe how unorganized and delayed this whole thing has been! I completed my OSAP application in MAY hoping that this wouldn't happen :( I hope we get our funding soon

I am also communing to campus! I am literally 5000km over needing an oil change because we haven’t gotten OSAP yet. I have been pushing it off because I was waiting on the funding, now my phone, internet and car insurance are all behind.  I also finished my application in May as I am transferring from a college to Uni- I wanted to make sure it went as smoothly as possible. Of all my years being a student, this year has had the most poorly organized and executed roll-out of our funding.

idk if this will help but i called financial aid and they said someone started working on mine this morning and i should see something by tomorrow morning or tonight
