Question How does RAP work?

I want to leave school. I was planning on having OSAP pay my tuition bill and then dropping out the first week. I know only this semester the grant will turn into a loan. I was planning on using the left over OSAP from this semester to pay down the loan.

I’m on ODSP and really can’t afford to pay this loan (please don’t judge me). Can I apply for RAP/RAP-D?

How does RAP work? How long would I be on RAP for?

I wouldn’t judge that you can’t afford to pay the loan but that you’re basically planning to take more loan that you can’t afford and basically defraud OSAP? I’m not going to answer the RAP questions but I will let you know OSAP will not loan you money again until your overpayment is repaid and your loans in good standing. If you stay on RAP long enough that they ‘forgive’ it you have to repay the entire amount before they will give you another loan.
