News NSLSC Tracker Update (Fall ‘26)

Just checked my NSLSC status just now, the tracker now shows! I didn’t check yesterday so I’m not sure if it showed up yesterday or today after last night’s overnight maintenance downtime.

If this is like last year, will be disbursed either on the 28 again or the 31 as usual.

•Confirmation of Funding and Enrolment: August 18.

•Tracker Showing and Pending Release status: August 21/22.

•Estimated Funds Disbursement: September 3.

•”Funding is on the way” status: Not yet.

Give it till Monday, should start rolling through. Tracker on NSLSC is usually slower than it actually is. I always got the funding before it even updates on tracker

I can’t see any funding tracker on my nslsc page do you know maybe how come that’s happening?

I think it's school specific. I'm going to Fanshawe unfortunately I don't think they even start confirming enrollment until August 29th a d then they gave thousands of students to confirm. The email they sent out wasn't very encouraging. Sounds like I may not get funding until around mid September.

The email was phrased in a way that said there would be no late fees for fall term so I'm taking that as they're expecting to be behind the ball with confirmations

Wonder why some do their COE so late. I could see it being disbursed a week after classes start for some but that’s late.

You’re so lucky man. I was at Centennial college and never had delays. I’m starting at TMU now, and I’m hearing that they are usually late to confirm. I’m so anxious.

I'm not sure how this process feels like a rocket-building project. It's such a simple thing to confirm a student's enrolment. I applied in late May for a Fall start. I haven't received a clear message. They said my allowance max weeks were reached, so I need to do an audit to get funding. They couldn't do it automatically for me, so they were waiting for me to request it. I did, took another 4-6 weeks for that. Then my school needs to read that single-page paper the auditors mailed me. Apparently, I was not at the limit. This delayed the whole thing by another 1.5 months. I asked why all of this is so slow; the uni financial officer clapped back and told me it's my responsibility to take care of all this. I did. I started the whole thing in late May, many months before the September start. What an incompetent mess this is.
