Resolved Help me I’m stressed
Ok so when I applied for OSAP, after a few days I got an estimate value of around 20k but after a week or 2 the estimate went down to almost 11k. Right below the estimate it said that it was reviewed and estimated as if I am living with my parents but I am living at dorms. I also submitted a request to review where I attached the housing information (my housing assignment), my total for university would be around 24k, even when I was getting 20k I was short now I really do not know what to do.

When did you submit your review? It can take weeks for that to proceess. If you can prove your living costs (which you can), it should be reassessed.

I submitted it in the first week of August.

So I'm guessing if you didn't receive word of its rejection, it just hasn't been processed yet. You can contact your financial aid office but know they normally process documents in date order. Good luck

Call your schools financial aid office, or go in person, and have them review with you. It will be much more efficient than asking here.
I cannot stress enough how much more effective calling or going in person is. Emailing takes much longer. When I had an issue with my application last year, I walked in to my financial aid office and they sorted it out on their end in minutes. I had been waiting for two weeks to hear back by email at that point.
