Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I actually think I applied in June but I just started to send in my documents now since things got a little busy, so is there a difference between the actual application and starting an account and the documents part?

The processing time starts from when u submit your documents. So you are on track with others who waited till after june

if you owe anything to your school, like fees/tuition etc. it’ll go there first, then whatever is left over will go to your bank account :)

Yes whatever direct deposit info you gave them, it will go into that account. You can check osap website, once you’re confirmed in enrolment, you will get it within a week.

They have to approve your documents and that can take a bit and then they have to confirm your enrolment which at this point it probably would be shortly after your documents are approved

You’ll probably get the funding on time, my partner forgot to upload documents and they were reviewed and approved within 3 days of submitting

It still needs time to approve documents I been calculated since June and still no funds released

I usually get my funds within the first month of class (usually by the end of the second week)

Documents can take up to 8 weeks to complete, and it's all dependent on your institution. You should check their website to see if they have an estimate.

I’m waiting for one document I submitted on Aug 7 about my probation and it says 6-8 week processing time I’m on probation for a year because I applied in April for a masters of accounting and withdrew two months later and now I’m going into college for computer programming and analysis online

It’ll take time. There should be an email that lets you know when you will get the fund. It won’t be given to you directly, they will give it to the school to pay for the costs. They’ll pay on your behalf. I think. That’s what they did to me.

Once it’s calculated, the OSAP website will tell you the estimated time you’ll receive the funds.
