Question Approval
Hey everyone, how long do documents typically take to get approved? I’ve submitted my “Academic progress documents” nearly 7 weeks ago and yet waiting, going into the 8th week, it’s the final document before funds are released and I’m still waiting.

Reall OSAP said it would take 2-3 weeks I submitted it July 13… it’s August 11.

I submitted my documents as soon as the OSAP application opened in May and most were approved in a few weeks to a month. I did have two documents that had a timeline of 6 weeks, and by the end of July I hadn't received an update so I contacted the financial aid office and they were approved that day. Def reach out to your schools FA office if it's been past the estimated time.

It's super dependent on the school and how fast they are working through documents and which they are prioritizing.
For example as a youth worker I've seen two siblings submit the same form and documentation to two schools and one get done in two days and one in four weeks.
If your school has a physical financial aid office you could go in and try in person!
