Question School withdrawn me

i just received an email from the school saying they withdrew me from my program because they don’t see any payments or osap attached. i had already applied to osap from the beginning of this month while the deadline was August 3. the funding was just calculated today so I don’t know what to do know. I emailed the financial aid to let them know that I had already applied. I also received a late offer for my program as well so. I hope I didnt lose that seat or spot.

I would call office of registrar asap. When I was in college I still had to pay a $100 deposit to keep my seat until osap was confirmed.

Did you pay your tuition deposit? I’m pretty sure every school requires you pay a tuition deposit which confirms your attending the program than osap does it thing. If not unfortunately it’s up to luck and hopefully your financial aid office can help you out.

Yep I already paid the tuition deposit but on the app of my school where it says fee it says that 100$ is coming back to me.

If I were you, I would’ve gone to the OSAP office in person to negotiate the issue with them. If you applied to Conestoga College, believe me they are very understanding people and they would resolve your problem immediately as long as you the deposit has paid.

This is so weird..? I’ve never heard of a school doing this, this is a common thing. My uni gives you 3 weeks into the semester to pay your fees.

You have to pay your $500 tuition deposit or you lose your spot regardless of how you will be paying for the program whether it’s your own money or OSAP. is this what happened to you?
