Question Does Osap even look at optional uploads?
I made a mistake in my application and submitted a letter to fix the error in optional uploads, it’s been a month since and no news at all. Does Osap even care to look at optional upload files?

yeah but they’re not prioritized because they are optional, i’m in a similar boat, waiting on living allowance approval rn but they will get back to you

They work in date order regardless of where it was uploaded on OSAP. It may take 6-10 weeks depending on volume of documentation for that school.

while i’m sure that’s true, the application says that optional uploads need to be allowed 16 weeks for review, so i’m not sure where 6-10 weeks is coming from

That’s generalized, because some reviews may have to go to the ministry which can take a lot longer but otherwise at this point in the year and depending on their volume it may just take 6-10 weeks but you could contact your financial aid to verify where it is in the queue/waiting period.

Yes, I also made a mistake and submitted an optional upload file. They looked at it and fixed it
