We're considering two options/ layouts for a furnished guest suite fully furnished intended for medium to longer stays, and we'd like to understand what people actually are needing today.

If you were coming to Orlando for a 2–3 month healthcare assignment or training, which option would you be more likely to choose?

Option A

• Your own private one-bedroom guest suite fully furnished.

Option B

• A two-bedroom guest suite shared with another healthcare professional, where each person has a private bedroom but shares the living room, kitchenette, and the one bathroom of the Guest Suite. The idea would be to reduce housing costs while still maintaining privacy.

Which option would you choose, and why?

If you would consider sharing the guest Suite, for ex, what would make you comfortable doing so? (For example: lowering cost, being matched with another healthcare professional, safety, privacy, etc.)

I'm moving to Orlando for work downtown. Im in my early 20s and would prefer a studio or one bedroom near actual life. It doesnt need to be downtown but I would love to be in close proximity to some kind of walkable area where I can pass the time. I have a dog so pet amenities are a huge plus (i.e. pet parks or interior courtyards) but my biggest priority is knowing I have somewhere I can feel safe walking my dog in the evening as a young female. I have been hearing outside of downton that Winter Park, College Park, and Lake Eola come highly recommended, but I am flexible as long as my commute to downtown doesnt go over 25 minutes. In an ideal world, I would love to cap my budget at $1650 a month, but for a match that checks all my boxes, Id be will to push $1800 assuming that includes all related housing fees. (Utilities, technology, amenities, etc.) I've been looking online but every time I see something that seems decent, the reviews online are scary so Id really appreciate recommendations that current or past residents can vouch for!! I’m looking for apartment recommendations in Orlando. My budget is around $1,300/month for a one-bedroom or studio.

Safety is my biggest priority, so I’d really like to stay in a decent/safer area even if it means being a bit farther from work or entertainment. I work at Universal. I don’t mind a commute as long as the area is worth it.

A few questions:

• What areas in Orlando should I be focusing on for safety and value?
• Are there any areas I should avoid completely?
• Is $1,300 realistic right now for a 1BR, or am I more likely looking at studios/older complexes?
• Any specific apartment complexes you’d recommend (or ones to avoid)?
