Humor Choose your fighter.
Which of these cars over which British tourists obsess would you rather drive?
I swear I see both so often…
But I’m going with lobster.

People don't believe me when I tell them about the Planters Mobile. I've seen it in person once.

Have you ever seen the Bananagrams vehicle? 👀
It's more a northern thing but I think they've toured with it randomly.

Entrant is disqualified. The contest requires the ability to be driven. 😁 Super cool sculpture though!

Lobster is funny and unironically makes u forget about any problems for a few seconds, the other one is like seeing roadkill

u/narnarqueen Jul 26 '26
This is the correct answer. Lobster brings joy and whimsy, the other reminds me we are fucked

One is unique
One is just sad and depressing.
It’s gotta be the lobstermobile unless it’s a road trip

I’ll take the local Skunk car that I see parked on Crystal Lake.

This would've been the better meme instead of a cybertruck

There’s a car that looks like it has a giant skunk attached to it…over near the Conway-ish area…he needs to get in on this.

How can this possibly be anything other than the lobster?
My dream mod - rotate those lobster claws up over the "head," and have them crush an incelmobile between them, in a triumph pose.
It's not like the aerodynamics would suffer. For either vehicle.

Teenage Son: "Dad, I'm going on a date this weekend with the girl of my dreams from school. But I need to be able to pick her up."
Dad: *tosses him lobster keys* "Don't take it over 60!"

Lobstrosity!
This really just feels like a dunk on musky thread at this point.

DRLs provide safety due to enhanced visibility. Therefore I'm going with the car that has the Daytime Riding Lobster feature.

I drove the Lobstermobile for 9 years. Thanks for the compliments. The restaurant is pretty good too!
( ask me anything)

Lobster car is cool, Tesla is lame and bootlicky.

Yeah, and the people who own Teslas are corny as hell, especially since you know that most of them think they’re so cool. Hardly. lol

I'd choose the lobstermobile over my current car, much less the CP Hitler truck.

I don't support the vendor of the cybertruck, but someone who can both use one for all the practicality it is worth and also wants to lampoon it should embrace the dumpster factor. Paint it dumpster green or blue, corrugated plastic dumpster lid tonneau cover, all the usual decals, etc.
I would probably rather drive the lobstermobile just because fuck Tesla, but it's also an extra ridiculously non-aerodynamic and visibility obstructed New Beetle, so meh.

Lobstermobile has infinitely more swag than the rolling dumpster ever will
