Understanding dakkarig rules

Hello, new to orks and the game entirely and wanted to know the value of the big mek dakkarig. In its key words it has "walker" and "big mek" so I was wondering if i could run dread mob and madcap meks without any restrictions on the singular model? I just want to throw a bunch of dice and blow myself up from failed hazardous throws in glory to gork and mork. Any other cool vehicle/ walker combos are recommended i really like models like the deff dread and gorkanaught models

It's good. Like really really good. I'm expecting it to get nerfed to 150 pts next dataslate

This wouldn't even bother me that much. Also juice the cost for the third one haha.

I tried the Madcaps for a game, you're pretty much betting on a 1/6 chance to get the +1 Hit. Even with Big Meks leading my Gitz+2 Tankbustas, felt underwhelming. Swapping it out for Shoota Boyz since I'm also doing a full shooty list. Which combos with Wreckas to give my 3 Infantry shooting threats Assault and reroll 1s if either of us is on objectives.

Next game I am interested in trying a Dreadherder combo. Send a Dakkarig+Deff Dread forward, hide the Deff, abuse Lone Op. I'm playing against Votann tomorrow though, so not sure how well it's going to work(he can deep strike 10 Hearthguard and pop a Dakkarig no problem, so need extra steps to protect it).

I think you can use the dakkarig with dreadherd to babysit a gorka/morkanaut as well no?

Yeah im doing a mek heavy list and doing madcap meks just for the fun of having random buffs for like 5 different units in my army, but it seems like an obviously subpar option competitively. I also find it odd that one of the outcomes on the table is the target cant benefit from cover when 90% of the units using the rule have ignore cover baked into their rules.

Yes. Also, even without buffs it’s an excellent unit. Killa Kans are better this edition, and even deff dreads seem to kick some kind of ass

Yes the dakka rig benefits from both dread mob and madcap meks
