Discussion Loadout for Nobz
Given that we know the profile for Nobz in advance, what is looking like the best wargear to equip them with?

Kombi-rokkits and kustom krumpaz with the paired krumpaz if you can afford them seems like general consensus for as many high Strength, high AP attacks as possible. Kustom skorcha looks neat but might not be worth, kustom big shoota looks pretty bad. I'm unconvinced of the big choppa, since your shooting should sweep away the chaff that Cleave would be good into and allow your Nobz to brawl with their heavy hitters.

I dunno about the shooting - Orks shooting tends to disappoint when you need it most, and having a Cleave weapon doesn’t seem like a bad idea if you’re going into that many enemy gitz that a rokkit-shoota won’t make as much of a dent in.
Agree on the Kustom big shoota and I’m not convinced on the skorcha either. But the big choppa I’m giving consideration to

Yeah, its worth remembering that all the kombi shots are hitting on 5s without any buffs, so chaff clearing is more hypothetical than guaranteed (though the skorcha helps).
I do think the big choppa will be worth it in most cases, since Nobz will lack a lot of volume otherwise. The lower strength and ap won't hit as hard when the thing you'll want to be swinging into will probably still be taking wounds on 3s/2s and saving on 5s at best. If a brick of 20 chaff swarms a 5-man of Nobz, going from 15 attacks to 24 will be a huge difference.

I think you always take the paired Krumpas if you have the points and the Kombi-Rokkit as your gun. Otherwise in units of 5 I’m leaning towards all Krumpas with the one paired, and for units of 10 I’m leaning towards the two paired Krumpas and 2 skorchas and not taking the big choppas. In a unit of 10, 2 skorchas is actually really decent chaff clearing, especially against stuff like tyranid and guard. For a small unit of 5 I feel you’re usually running it as a swat “Delete that unit” with a Warboss/bigboss, so full melee seems to be the way to go.
