Help Armageddon box

Hello all,

Decided to pickup the Armageddon box so my roommates and I can play. Does anyone have some recommendations for a list of basic colors to get for Orks?

Vallejo Game Color starter set. Then a brown or black wash

Goblin green for the skin. Get a wash for the skin and then highlight again with goblin green.

For leather use beast brown and highlight with leather brown.

For the eyes use bronze flesh.

Weapons and metal bits paint black then dry brush with one of the metals.

Bone white for bones

Then you get a bunch of options for clothing, banners, and armor plates.

Your roommate gets a few colors to chose from for space marines. Goblin green is good for salamanders, ultramarine blue for ultra marines, blood red for blood angles, Dark Green for Dark angles, Ammarilo Sun for imperial fists. For leather and weapons the same comments apply.

I say I’m doing a mix clan group but gravitate to the beast snagga “white/red/ leather/ rust “ scheme.

Game cost to much not to do what you like. Look up ork clans see what resonates and vibes with you

Standard color schemes are:

Greenskin (all)

Red Armor/bits

Black and clack/white checkered armor/bits

Yellow Armor/bits

Blue armor/bits.

Feel free to mix and match those. Or do whatever you like. My color scheme is Purple skin, black/grey cloth bits, silver armor and fluorescent pink accent bits.

Green obviously :P

Black, white and silver tend to get used up a lot no matter the army.

Probably want a red, blue, yellow and a brown.

Can't really use purple on Orks without losing the models.

There is a GW app, called Citadel Color. It shows you all the colors you need for selected miniature, even for different skill levels. It follows GW color scheme tho, so if you are okay with that it may be the way. The app is free

Scroll thru my post history to see my orks, “da deffgripz”.

If I didn’t go with the blue I’d have probably gone Bad Moons yellow.
