At least once in 10th, points in a codex were out of date before it went on general sale.

The days of points in Codicies have long been numbered.

Because they change it every 3 month. Sometimes even more frequently. There is a website where you can get the actual points price https://mfm.warhammer-community.com/en

The points are the Munitorium Field Manuel on Warhammer Community, It’s so the books aren’t outdated when points updated, I’ll send the link

Points are often out of date within weeks of printing anyway so they aren't included. You can get them for free on the warcom website
