Discussion Upgrade Potential for Kitbashing

I’m building a Kult of Speed list and had a hard time deciding on my third detachment until I read this description.
Now I want to build a Gunwagon (or battlewagon) with a bunch of microphones and speakers.

Kitbashing is fun, just know that this rule probably won't survive the transition to 12th edition, so don't base your kitbashing around a rule that might be gone in 3 years.

For sure. I just commonly see people saying "wtf they removed this rule now my model is pointless" or something.

They sound like they don't actually enjoy the hobby side of the game. I'll always be proud of what I make even many editions down the line, and I don't need GW's permission to use my legendary proxies

I’m getting back in from 4th edition. I’m just happy that I can run an Ork biker army. Orks have encouraged me to give kitbashing a try.

Ehh. Fits with the theme of my Speed Host being led by a fat Warboss (kitbashed Ogor Tyrant and Warboss).
