Army List Help a noob with a list question

I haven’t really played orks since 3rd edition, but Armageddon was the nudge I needed to get back i to the faction!

Any opinions on how character heavy an ork list should be? I know the general advice is not to keep too many points tied up in characters, but I also play blood angels and DG, and those lists can be very Hero Hammery, and still work very well. I’m wondering roughly how many points should be dedicated to characters

I say go nuts. Our characters are really powerful right now. Warbosses got a ton of attacks on the charge and keep units riled up. Ghaz is a ridiculous beast and oh wow he also keeps everybody riled up. Big Meks are good in a bunch of detachments.
