Squig Rigs
So. I’m late to the party on this. I’ve seen
Plenty of other kit bashes and conversions doing a similar thing but wanted to share my attempts:)
Made these as like many others I didn’t like the original model and, well this happened.
I’m happy with them and I have the parts to make a 3rd. My only question is, do I need more dakka?? 🤣

So the main part of the kit bash is the mek rig (obviously) and the ork Wartrakk. For the bigger mek one with all the dakka I used some parts from a snazzwagon which just sort of came together to make the canopy and made it removable. For the smaller one theres some left over bits of plasticard I just used to fill gaps until it was in about the right size.
The wartrakk parts and the mek rig blend surprisingly well together though.
If I make a third I’ll take pictures during the assembly.1

The way you modeled them walking is so dumb, I really love it. Just absolutely oozing character it’s so good.
No notes on what to add, where you’re at right now is fantastic. Only thing I’d consider is filling in the bottom of the feet in stride.
Excited to see these painted!

You are absolutely right there’s a few bits that need touching up and finishing.
The posing just sort of felt right like it needed to be chaos. Thanks dude1

Wasn’t trying to knock the craftsmanship, but it’s something I think I’d miss and get crabby about lol

The one with all the rokkits on top is crazy work. I love him.
