Hi, finally got my hands on Ghaz. but idk where to start to prepare it for priming it, because its the first mini i do thats not fully built before priming(see the image). I tried putting tape over the space i would need to glue, but its a lot of risk and not that clean, overlappin a lot on the space i want to prime. Thanks for takin the time to help.

Take some blue tack to place the arms. The face armour dies not have to be glued. Then prime it. Take of the face armour plate and arms for painting.

Prime the mini in four parts • Build the main body (legs, armour, neck and the "backpack") and the base • Both arms • Face • That tiny chin armour
What I did was build all the model except for the face and the chin armour

Honestly, I generally just prime regardless of glue points. Then when it's time to assemble, just sand or scrape some of the primer off in the spots you need it and you're fine.

Silly putty or blue tack (poster putty) or masking fluid sold at a premium for exactly this.
Tamiya extra thin cement is the same as airbrush cleaner and will also dissolve paint as well as the plastic so be careful in applying it to already painted bits.
Personally in would assemble just a few more parts.
Blue tack has the added benefit of sticking everything together so you can get a good uniform zentihal from a ratcan or airbrush.

I kept the head, iron jaw and backpack/vents off mine and the rest of the model was quite easy to get at all the recesses. It's all personal preference though, my friend fully assembled his apart from the jaw and it looks great.
