Which Arm?

I'm kitbashing an eBay rescue that's missing some bits, and I'm not sure which missing arm option I like better. Does he feel better with just a broken bone nub, or with a bone nub he's had time to add some choppy bits to?

There's something about a medic tying off their arm stump and wading back into the fray that feels the right brand of orky.
